Class of 1952 55-year Reunion
ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS OF THE CLASS OF 1952
When the 50th anniversary reunion was over many members of our class wanted to meet again in 2007. Another reunion has been planned for May 25th and 26th, 2007. It will be a great opportunity to meet old (and I do mean old) friends from Jayo and to reminisce about our high school days.
There are a number of people from our class that we have not been able to find. The list of missing persons is printed on the back of this letter. Reunion Schedule
Friday, May 25, 2007. 3 – 5 PM (Cost $10 per person)
This will be an informal gathering of members of the class in the cafeteria at John Oliver Secondary School. Light refreshments will be served. This may be our last opportunity to meet in the school as serious consideration is being given to tearing down at least part of it.
Saturday, May 26, 2007. 11 AM – 4PM (Cost $40 per person)
This event will be held at the Point Grey Golf Club. A buffet lunch will be served at 12:30 PM. There will be ample opportunity for meeting other members of the class and for conversation. The tables will be removed as soon as lunch is over.
To register for either or both of the reunion events, please send the accompanying form along with your cheque by March 30, 2007. To cut down on mailing costs, no reminder notices will be sent by mail but reminders may be sent to those people for whom we have e-mail addresses. If your spouse/partner does not wish to attend the reunion feel free to come alone to either of the events.
If you cannot attend the reunion we would like to hear from you. Send greetings to your former classmates, tell us something about yourself, and send a current photograph, if possible. If you have an e-mail address we would appreciate having it so we can keep in touch. Just e-mail Sally with any information you want to share.
